U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Global Public Affairs

Strategic communications staffing, international media engagement, operational support for five global Regional Media Hubs

Pali Federal supported the State Department’s global messaging mission through direct operational support across five Regional Media Hubs—Brussels, Dubai, London, Miami, and Johannesburg. In the Miami Hub, our embedded communications specialists helped expand the Department’s reach through strategic content development, influencer engagement, and press coordination.

Beyond day-to-day messaging, we enhanced institutional workflows by developing standard operating procedures and internal management systems—improving continuity, efficiency, and institutional knowledge across media operations.

Key Results:

  • Delivered hundreds of virtual diplomacy programs with zero operational disruptions
  • Enabled rapid transition to virtual public diplomacy during pandemic restrictions
  • Sustained quality and alignment across a large portfolio of simultaneous federal task orders

U.S. Department of State - International Information Programs

Virtual event production, speaker support, IDIQ task order management, communications staffing

Pali Federal managed over 400 virtual programs annually for the U.S. Speaker Program, delivering live and pre-recorded engagements with technical precision across global audiences. Our role included scripting, production support, platform coordination, and speaker preparation—ensuring diplomatic messages landed effectively in diverse, often high-sensitivity environments.

Concurrently, we oversaw more than 147 active task orders under multiple State Department IDIQs, supporting communications strategy, staffing, and media services across bureaus. Our operational capacity enabled high-volume, high-complexity execution with consistent quality and mission alignment.

Key Results:

  • Simplified complex security concepts for diverse audiences
  • Elevated DARPA’s public communications with a tactile, cinematic experience
  • Strengthened leadership understanding and support for SSITH’s mission

Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) - Microsystems Technology Office

Cybersecurity visualization, public engagement exhibit, interactive product design for SSITH (Secure Hardware Demonstration through Immersive Simulation)

Pali Federal (as KAIA contracting through Galois) designed and built an immersive simulator for DARPA’s SSITH (System Security Integration Through Hardware and Firmware) initiative. A physical SmartCar rig was modified with custom electronics, a dynamic UI/UX, and LED indicators to simulate cyberattacks in real time—allowing users to experience both breaches and defenses through interactive hardware engagement.

This experiential demo helped DARPA showcase the value of hardware-based cybersecurity to both technical and non-technical audiences by dramatizing threat mitigation at the user level.

Key Results:

  • Delivered a seamless virtual broadcast under pandemic restrictions
  • Enabled stakeholder engagement without delay to program milestones
  • Repackaged assets for on-demand use, extending long-term value

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - UAS Traffic Management Pilot Program (UPP2)

Virtual Event Production for Drone Traffic Management; live + pre-recorded content, stakeholder coordination

When the COVID-19 pandemic canceled an in-person drone traffic demonstration, Pali Federal pivoted quickly to produce a virtual showcase for FAA’s UPP2 program. We blended live and pre-recorded content (“simulive”) using a virtual control room, shipped recording kits to remote presenters, and supported all aspects of event delivery.

Our production ensured the program stayed on track and delivered compelling content to FAA stakeholders and industry audiences, expanding reach and preserving momentum.

Key Results:

  • Expanded training reach through engaging, modern delivery
  • Developed reusable materials to support NASA’s long-term workforce development
  • Maximized clarity and retention of technical content through strong visuals

National Aeronautics and Space Administration - Airspace Systems Program

Virtual Training for National Airspace Education Remote training, curriculum design, live event control, visual content production

For NASA’s NAS101 course, Pali Federal transformed a traditionally in-person training into a high-quality virtual event. We coordinated live and pre-recorded expert presentations, developed interactive visuals (maps, timelines, diagrams), and operated a split-channel broadcast through a custom virtual control room.

This production not only delivered vital content to more engineers than ever before, but also created a recorded asset NASA could use for ongoing airspace modernization training.

Key Results:

  • Translated complex air traffic innovation into clear, persuasive content
  • Created reusable visual assets for broader internal and external use
  • Earned direct praise from FAA leadership for quality and impact

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - Flight Deck Collaborative Decision Making (FD CDM)

Air Traffic Innovation Stakeholder presentation employing Multimedia Storytelling and technical messaging

To accelerate understanding and buy-in for FD CDM, a digital taxi clearance initiative, Pali Federal produced a visually rich, multimedia presentation. Working closely with FAA teams, we integrated 2D/3D illustrations, animated explainer videos, and an operational OV-1 concept graphic, all within a polished slide deck and reusable branding template.

The result was a highly praised presentation that elevated FAA messaging and helped align engineering and policy stakeholders.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) - Advanced CPR Solutions® – EleGARD Patient Positioning System

Persuasive Video & Product Design Support for NIH SBIR Grant
